Namaste / Greetings

My name is Peter Macdonald and I'm a Horowhenua-based Yoga teacher, and organic farmer, who enjoys leading Yoga classes in Levin each week.

I completed formal Yoga teacher training with ‘Yoga Aotearoa’ – the International Yoga Teachers’ Association of New Zealand. I continue to undertake Yoga studies and on-going post-graduate training, as well as learning and sharing with students at every class.

My Hatha Yoga-based classes are designed to encourage beginners and more experienced Yogis to extend their own physical and Yoga practice boundaries - - whatever their current fitness or experience level might be.

I aim to help students enhance their flexibility, fitness and strength with Yoga postures, breathing and relaxation techniques in an informal setting while still respecting Yoga’s rich traditions, practices and history.

Classes are held at either Thompson House (4 Kent St, Levin) or More Dance Studio (268a Oxford St, Levin) as detailed on the Classes page.
